Prof. S.B. Singh Memorial International Value Added Lecture Series Concludes at Rohilkhand University

Bareilly: The three-day “Prof. S.B. Singh Memorial International Value Added Lecture Series,” organised by the Faculty of Management at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh, concluded successfully on Sunday.

The lecture series aimed to promote the holistic development of students and teachers by integrating education, skill development, ethical values, and technological innovation. Throughout the event, several national and international speakers shared their perspectives on contemporary education, professional skills, moral values, and technological advancement.

Experts Highlight Value-Based and Skill-Oriented Education

During the first session of the second day, Akinchan Das spoke on the topic “An Eternal Truth That Can Change Your Thinking,” emphasizing the importance of life values and positive thinking.

In the second session, Dr. Rashi Saxena stressed the need for skill-based education, stating that practical and vocational learning has become essential for students in the modern era.

Miss Anushka highlighted the importance of skill knowledge in school education, while Dr. Simta Drone delivered a lecture on a human-centred approach in education, underlining the role of empathy and human values in the learning process.

In subsequent sessions, Dr. Richa Mishra discussed the significance of innovation, practical knowledge, and skill-oriented education, encouraging students to align themselves with the evolving education system.

Prof. Sumita Srivastava emphasized the importance of value-based education and research, advocating the integration of ethical principles with quality education.

International Sessions Focus on Digital Learning and Leadership

During the international segment of the lecture series, Dr. Rashi Singh delivered a lecture on “Online Platforms, Project-Based Learning and Innovation.” She stated that digital learning platforms are creating global opportunities for students and described project-based learning as an effective tool for enhancing creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Similarly, Dr. Devaraj Paneru highlighted the importance of global education, leadership, and management studies, inspiring students to adopt an international perspective.

Education 5.0 and Technology-Driven Learning Discussed on Final Day

On the concluding day, Ethicraft Club coordinator Akinchan Chaitanya Das shared his thoughts on “Education 5.0.” Through inspirational examples, he explained that modern education is not limited to knowledge acquisition but also serves as a medium for social development through ethical values, human sensitivity, and practical skills.

In the second session, Dr. Asjad Usmani delivered a lecture on “The Future of Education: Human Empowerment Through Technology.” He stated that technology is bringing revolutionary changes in education and that the future of learning should focus not only on technical efficiency but also on empowering human capabilities. He also elaborated on the significance of Artificial Intelligence, digital education, and innovation.

Programme organiser Prof. Tulika Saxena said that such events help students and teachers gain new perspectives by connecting knowledge, skills, and human values.

Students and research scholars who attended the programme described the lectures as highly inspiring and informative. The event was jointly conducted by Prof. Tulika Saxena, Dr. Richa, and Ms. Vaishali.
